Reflection 2013

I guess its finally the time of the year where I reflect on things that happened this year.

First of all, I lost some stuff but what I gained was much more than expected. I encountered a new group of friends (Yes, i still remember my promise ><’ I will try to cosplay latest by next year EOY SH :3)

I lost a friend who I held dear to me but if its not meant to be than as the chinese saying says, 长痛不如短痛, I will let go of this. Gained so much in terms of friendship, I’m sorry that you all have to deal with a socially-awkward piggy like me ><’

Had so much fond memories with my fellow Singaporean Otomenians Sage , Luvenia & RoNi. Thank you girls so much  Had so many first experiences this year, first time attending Natsu Matsuri, first time going to EOY, first time actually speaking to a cosplayer and etc  

I made a lot of decisions that I regret but also decisions that I will never regret. Thank you for accompanying me in 2013 and I hope it will carry on to 2014 and many more years.

Feeling really depressed right now.
I get that you no longer want to be my friend but seriously, is there really a need to insult whatever that I do?
I apologize if I have given the wrong directions because that was where I remember the store to be when I last went to that mall. 

But is there really a need to comment about me being a fatso and wanting bitchslap me? I get it that I’m fat and you no longer want to meet me. But..
I don’t know anymore. I was so happy about the EOY and now thanks, you have completely ruined that feeling for me. If that was your goal, congratulations. You have achieved it. 

And for the record, you wearing heels is the mistake on your part. I didn’t forced you to wear heels. And since you have been to AFA, you should know that these kind of events usually includes a lot of walking. Don’t blame me for your aching feet cause I wasn’t the one who told you to wear heels. You made that decision by yourself. Not me.

EOY 2013

Went to my very first EOY. Seem to have experience so many first-times this year, Natsu Matsuri and etc. First cosplayer I saw was Auntie Shirley with her super big smile! Really good start to the event despite the super hot weather ><’

Met up with Sharlene to pass her items (Gomen for being super late! I know you girls need it urgently ><’ Gomen! -bows-) AND WHY YOU NO ACCEPT MY ICE CREAM. MY LOVE FOR YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE SO BRAVE TO ENDURE THE BLISTERING HEAT. Seriously, are you girls alright? Your booth was directly facing the sunlight .__.

The weather was so freaking hot, just feel like staying in one corner and nua. Collect my photobook and took some pics~ The weather is too hot liaos, just sat down on the floor and kept complaining to PeiPei that it is soooo hot.

Finally meet up with Sophie after a game of Cat-and-mouse ><’ Collected a few coscards~ ;A; Could have collected more, but.. Is it just me who is suay but majority of the cosers that I took pics of for, forgot to bring their coscards ;A;

But I noticed that some the older animes are making a comeback, saw some cosplayers from Gundam Seed and Shaman King ._. Danga Ronpa seemed to have died down, only saw a handful of cosers for that. SnK and Free are still going strong but most cosplayers are either Heichou or Gaychou. 

Had ramen for dinner~  Me and Sophie kept repeating, “The thick tonkatsu broth, the chewy noodles, the awesome charsiew, the creamy egg and the sweet corn on top!~” the entire journey to Marina Square.

AFA Day 3

Today is the third and last day of AFA. Reached the venue around 10+ (the same timing as yesterday) and was shocked to see how little people were there. I DON’T NEED TO SQUEEZE AND PUSH!! Went around for awhile and had my brunch (more like late breakfast) and took some pics. Accidentally saw at the SnK zone that Reika was coming for a photo-taking session at 11am, so I immediately started to queue. 

SHE WAS SOOOO FREAKING NICE. Took a few pics and loitered around for awhile more behind heading to other sections. Not much to shop since my priority at AFA was not to shop but to take pictures of the cosplayers. Went outside and snap loads more of picture. Managed to take a few pics of those adorable furries~ They are so cute~~ They would make all those cutsy poses and D’awww~ 

Went back in to see the autograph session with Reika, am super disappointed when they say the autographs are limited to those who bought her photobooks yesterday. ;A;A; Went out quickly to prevent any more damage to my broken kokoro </3 Took more pictures (yes! -victory pose-) and went off for lunch~ Came back just in time for the grand finals of ARCC. 

1st Place : Indonesia
2nd Place : Philippine
3rd Place : Singapore

Went to another of Reika’s photo-taking session but was once again disappointed when they said only people who subscribe to Toggle during the event can take pics with her. (In my defense, I did try to subscribe but somehow my phone couldn’t receive the one-time-password needed to complete the purchase) but it’s okay cause~~ I GOT A CHANCE TO TAKE A SELFIE WITH HER BACKSTAGE!!! -FANGIRLING- 

Overall : Super tiring but super fun  Can’t wait for AFA14!

AFA Day 2.

First impression when I entered the venue: O.M.F.G. WHY THE HELL ARE THEY SO MANY PEOPLE?!

I don’t think there was even enough space to walk properly. I quote this from a guy I overheard, “In AFA, you don’t walk. You push.” Indeed, everyone was pushing and I think I was the only one who kept saying “excuse me, sorry” again and again. Was quite happy with today since I got to meet up with 婷婷 and also Tiffany. Wonderful people 

Went to had brunch after meeting up with 婷婷 at the butler café and Hiroshi (right 婷婷?) was our butler. And from this day forward, he shall be known as ”Mr Heart Attack”. Reason? I was happily chit-chatting to 婷婷 and all of a sudden, he leaned down and whispered to me, “Fun mah?” OMG. Instant heart attack ><’ Yutaki’s voice was dam cute lah!

Went down to get something to drink and Tiffany sms-ed me that Reikawas taking photos with everyone and immediately raced back to the hall. Sad thing was that I didn’t know they were already selling her photobooks, so I couldn’t buy them… -cries a river- But on the bright side, I got a chance to take a pic with her. Its not much to others but it really made me happy.

Took some more pictures and finally found Keryn and I was sooooo close to giving up >< Turned around the corner and I found her~ Tomorrow got cosplay competition, must 补偿 today’s lack of cosplayers photos.
