YOOOO THIS IS SO GREAT

Jean – Dragon

Mikasa – Snake (with a sword down the spine)

Eren – Tiger (this makes me laugh bc if memory serves according to zodiac the tiger and the dragon signs are supposedly incompatible, i.e. butting heads, which is totally true)

Bertolt – Carp, red spider lily/lycoris

Reiner – Bull, rope (or more accurately a bull entangled in ropes; fairly appropriate) (+black flames)

Aah Annie and Armin’s are my favourites, love the weapons hidden behind their backs too

Armin – centipede (+lotus)

Annie – Spider (+skull and flames)

Marco – Phoenix (+peonies) (again! the Phoenix and Dragon are Yin-Yang, artist is probably a JeanMarco shipper heh)

Connie – Two mice, and the text says a small hammer but i don’t see it???

Sasha – A rabbit and idk???

Ymir – a crane (+what look like peonies but i’m not sure)

Christa – Turtle (+water lilies)

bertolt’s carp – perseverance

reiner’s bull – strong will  

ahhh sasha is holding an arrow!! my hunter princess 

for connie, the two mice are holding the small hammer in the center of his back, it’s got a tasseled rope tied to the handle 

and i like ymir’s and christa’s, the crane and tortoise are a dual symbol of longevity 🙂

ALSO THEIR TATTOOS ARE ON DIFFERENT SIDES OF THEIR BACKS they fit like puzzle pieces i tell you

Oh yes! haha can’t believe i forgot about the crane and the tortoise symbolism (especially since my mom has so many of those all over the house for that reason), and thanks for adding all the rest!! <33 (feelin kinda dumb for not noticing the hammer too :3)

also dragons and tigers are typically associated with leadership, aren’t they mm

anyway the longevity symbolism has now elevated ymir and christa’s tattoos to my favourites in this entire set ugh otp i love that their tattoos fit perfectly together
