TOUKEN RANBU OFFICIAL ANDROID THEME

I saw this tweet from official Touken Ranbu Twitter yesterday and decided to give it a try. xD

This is my first time using this app, but I will try to give an explanation on how to install this theme from the steps I took.

01. Install “buzzHOME”

In the tweet, there is a link to “buzzHOME” where you could see the preview and download link to this theme. Here is a screenshot.

That link will bring you to Google Play Store. But from what I know, this application is region restricted so I
could not download from this page. Therefore, I downloaded the buzzHOME
app from here.

Install the application afterwards.

P.S. If you can download from that page, then go ahead and download because you will be installing the same app either way. xD

02. Installing Theme from buzzHOME

Open the buzzHome application (it might be named as “HomePack Buzz”).

The
first time I’m using this app, I was prompted to choose a theme. Since I
didn’t find the Touken Ranbu theme there, I just chose whatever and
installed that theme.

Note: After installing a theme, there
will be a notification (in Japanese). There will be two buttons. Just
choose the first one, then you will be brought to your “Setting” page.
Just hit the “Back” button.

03. Set buzzHOME as Your Default Application

You probably already know how to do this:

  • Go to Setting > Applications
  • Choose “Default Applications”
  • From the “Home” option, pick “buzzHOME” as your default
  • Hit the “Home” button

04. Installing Touken Ranbu Official Theme

Now
that buzzHOME has become your default Home Screen, whenever you hit on
the “Home” button, you will be brought to the theme you have chosen
before.

To find the Touken Ranbu theme, open the buzzHOME application again.

There
is a search bar at the top, so write down “刀剣乱舞-ONLINE-“ there. You will get
about 150 Touken Ranbu themes in the search result, mostly fan-made.
