In case you ever doubted the wide influence and reach of the Touken Ranbu Musicals, especially team Atsukashiyama: The first musical, first to tour in Paris, first to have an official English subbed DVD release, now the first to have their own Petit Nendoroids made of them in their little live idol outfits.
This commentary is taken from my live Tweeting of the cross-talk featuring Matsuda Makoto and the boys of Team Sanjou with Kashuu Kiyomitsu from the “Musical Touken Ranbu” (Toumyu) that is available on the “Jounetsu Tairiku x Matsuda Makoto” DVD.

At today’s work place, there was a national treasure. There was a national treasure that had only recently been born. In my arms, it acted as a maneki neko [1].
Placing it in the care of the staff, when I returned to work, it looked like it was cheering me on, saying, “Do your best-!”, and I thought that I would die. I thought that I’d be murdered by cuteness.
Today as well, I will do my best at work.
NOTE:
[1] The “maneki neko”, which can be loosely translated to “fortune cat” or “lucky cat”, refers to a common Japanese lucky charm that is believed to bring its owner good luck.
With a smile, he did the monjayaki for me. It is that type of a Tuesday night.
NOTE:
[1] Monjayaki is a type of Japanese pan-fried batter dish which is similar to okonomiyaki, but is cooked with additional water or cooking soup stock (“dashi”), which makes it runnier than okonomiyaki.
