What would Newt’s Boggart be?
Every single one of his babies dead on the floor with their eyes open and looking straight at him. And it was his fault that they died.

Newt Scamander
I’ve just watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and now I’m head over heels for Tina Goldstein like you won’t believe it.
(Spoiler alert!)
This beautiful ball of righteous fury and
love:
- Raises her sister and herself after their parents died, and is shown
to have a close, loving bond with her- Refuses to stand by and let a child suffer abuse (looking at you,
Dumbledore)- Gets demoted for trying to rescue a child, still actively keeps an
eye on him anyway- Shelters a foreign criminal and a No-Maj in her apartment and risks
capital punishment in the process because screw the rules, she is doing what’s
right- Immediately offers a genuine apology and assistance once she
realizes her mistake in taking Newt’s case to the MACUSA- Remembers helping Credence as one of her fondest memories, even
though it caused her demotion and disgrace- Comes to trust Newt’s decisions and warms up to his creatures
despite the NUMEROUS bullshit they’ve pulled throughout the movie- “What is that thing?” “Swooping Evil.” “Well, I love it!”
- Is given Newt’s case when he realizes he might not survive the
encounter with the Obscurus; the same case causes Newt to break down when he
sees Graves taking it- Goes toe to toe in a combat with Percival freaking Graves, AKA
Gellert Grindewald AKA Mister Takes-On-Twentysomething-Aurors-Without-Breaking-A-Sweat,
and manages to come to the magic equivalence of a blade-lock with him (seen in this gif set)- Shoulder-rolls into a quarantined warzone like she’s Indiana Jones,
without a single Auror spotting her- Talks Credence down with nothing but her genuine kindness and care
for him- “Inside the Obscurus, Credence
reaches out to Tina, the only person who has ever done him an uncomplicated kindness… He has dreamed
of her since she saved him from a beating.”- (Tell me why there are so few hurt/comfort fics involving Tina and
Credence. Tell me why.)- Endears herself to Newt “Social-Disaster” Scamander despite the
rocky beginning of their relationship, prompting him to promise to personally bring
her a copy of his book, even though he could just mail her oneConclusion: Porpentina Goldstein is a
courageous, kind, and compassionate character who deserves every ounce of
appreciation this fandom has to offer. The world needs to see this
I annoy people.
MY MOTHER JUST POINTED OUT THE BEST THING ABOUT CREDENCE BAREBONE AND MY HEART JUST CANT TAKE IT.
Okay so, we all know that Credence is the obsurus (I can’t remember how it’s spelled, forgive me) and that he was abused by Mary Lou.
Now, why didn’t he kill her while he was losing control? He could easily have done that.
My mother said, and I believe it too, that he felt sure around Mary Lou. He never liked her but he felt that he had somewhere to go.
Besides, after all the abuse, Credence didn’t have faith in himself, which is proved be his VERY FIRST WORDS in the movie which are “Do you think I’m a freak?” So, he accepted the abuse because he felt he deserved it.
However, he loved his sister. When Mary Lou found them with the wand, she saw Credence holding it and went to punish him, but the girl (who’s name I do not recall sadly) stepped in between and admitted it was hers. That’s when Credence killed Mary Lou.
WHEN HE SAW HES SISTER IN DANGER. In front of his eyes.
Mary Lou would abuse the young girl in front of his eyes and he couldn’t take it.
The obsurus killed Mary Lou when she attacked his sister.I know this might be incomplete, add something if you want to. BUT CAN YOU FEEL MY HEART???
Some edits for my favorite Fantastic Beasts characters ♡
#do you ever just want to cry because of how much Newt Scamander loves and adores his creatures #and how he looks at them, talks to them and treats them with such genuine care and affection
