Personally I feel he would choose indoors because he knows that the MC is shy and he doesn’t want to do anything that might make the MC dislike him or feel uncomfortable to do with him. And it also helps that Yuki reminded him once that he has to be gentle with girls.

I don’t even drink coffee and things like this insult me. Like, even when I look at some coffees and think they’re really overly complicated/hip/ridiculous, I don’t think for a second that they should “respect” their coffee more. It’s a drink, do whatever you want with it.
